This spring, my husband and I employed Ms. Jennifer Hayman of Jennifer Hayman Design, to design and implement an extensive change to our residence. Jennifer’s landscape designs were whimsical, captivating and very creative.
We both thought she was very personable and an absolute pleasure to work with. Jennifer’s work was extremely professional. The stonemason and landscaper she had hired worked to a preset schedule and the work was completed on time and to our complete satisfaction. After the installation, Jennifer returned regularly to inspect the garden and to ensure that it remained healthy.

I can enthusiastically recommend Jennifer Hayman as a garden designer. I believe her most admirable quality was her willingness to listen carefully to my own ideas and then to discuss a variety of approaches. Through the whole renovation process she continually checked for my reactions so that I was confident about the project. The contractor she recommended was excellent and worked closely with her throughout the estimate and construction stages.
Jennifer had a wealth of information resources that gave me wide choices in both the design and planting stages. She visited the site often during the construction and supervised the planting which was very helpful. I appreciated her consistent concern for my garden. Now that I am the gardener I feel confident about the new garden because of all the advice she left with me.
I believe Jennifer has a great understanding of how to fit a garden's design into a specific context. In my case I am seeing the front of my house quite differently because of the way the garden has been laid out. This means I don't have the 'standard' front garden but instead one that truly fits me and my house.
